Artist Bio

Omoike Benjamin was born in July 25th, 1990 in Lagos. He studied Painting in Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Nigeria. Interest in art spur from going to exhibitions and he later developed his knowledge of art after graduating by undergoing various art workshops. He uses the medium of painting and mixed media to explore and personalize his techniques to relate with urban issues allude to the lives and mood of everyday city people, most of his works has profusion of rich texture moreso using some tactical motifs and forms to relate with African Contemporary Art to give it an uncommon finish.
