Artist Bio

John Urherigho Onobrakpeya, born April 19, 1960, has spent 40 years mastering his artistic style and techniques. He is strongly inspired by Pablo Picasso’s art works. Mr Onobrakpeya combines abstract expressionism, impressionism, figures, deep etching and mixed media techniques to create his pieces. Had his OND from Ibadan Polythecnic and graduated from the University of Benin, Edo State with First Class Honors in Fine Art (Painting). Along with fine art, he creates sculptures, designs and constructs dancing water fountains and swimming pools.
