Artist Bio

OBAYAN OLUSOLA Born in Offa, Kwara State. He obtained BA in industrial design (specializing in graphics) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and MA in visual arts (painting) from University of Lagos, Akoka. Teaching General Design and Drawing at the Federal College of Education (Technical) Akoka, Lagos. He has featured in several group exhibitions, workshops and Academic conferences and committed to pursing artistic movement through the adaptation and interpretation of Traditional materials and methods forms motifs and a style of Contemporary Yoruba art and design called ilaona (lines of path).
