The plight of our girl child is calling for serious concerns from the society at large. The abuse as well as sexual harassment of the girl child is now a menace in our society. It is noted that our cultural values are being eroded due to our carelessness as we embrace foreign culture without cautions. The artist is lending his own voice to all and sundry about this satanic act that "the plight of these children is our concern"
Artist Bio:
Wole Ayoola (b. 1968) studied Fine Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife and graduated in 1999. As an artist whose interests and practice straddle different areas in visual arts, since his graduation from the university, he has practiced as an illustrator, graphic designer, production assistant for agencies and as an art teacher.
