As we go through life, our minds often save special moments that can take us back to a time of joy. Through the lens of our eyes, we are able to record these fond memories for us to travel back to in the future.
As I reflect on my happiest moments, one in particular stands out. It was the summer of 2018 my family and I were driving to a nearby lake to spend the day together. The sun was warm and the sky was a deep shade of blue, the perfect day to bond with my loved ones. We spent the afternoon swimming in the lake, enjoying the peacefulness of the surroundings. Later that night, as we were making our way back home, we stopped to watch the sun set and the stars appear in the night sky.
This day has become one of my fondest memories, and I'll always remember it in the back of my mind, reminding me to cherish special moments and those around me.
Artist Bio:
Agbabiaka Oluwakayode Dada is an artist (b. 1989), and also studied art in Yaba College of Technology school of art where he majored in painting. He is currently a Lagos base Nigerian artist he is also an Art Instructor and a dynamic artist with great versatile skills in his craft. He has participated with several art exhibition and workshop and carnival costume production for carnivals across Nigeria.
