Artist Bio
Oluwayemisi Olaperi Ajiboye-Osundina was born in Lagos to artist-parents; The renowned Josy Ajiboye (Painter and Cartoonist) and Christiana Adunni Ajiboye (Tie-Dye and Batik Designer). She graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where she obtained her first degree in Fine Arts (1999) and Master of Fine Arts in Painting (2004). She has been involved in professional practice as a Painter, Illustrator, Textile Designer and Graphic Artist. She has participated in several group Exhibitions, Trainings and Workshops. Yemisi currently heads the Design and Prepress Department of the Printing firm she works for in Lagos. She is a member of Sister Art Global Community and the Society of Nigerian Artists (SNA) Lagos chapter.
