This Lake is the only hanging lake on a Mountain in Africa. Iyake lake is located in Oyo State, Nigeria in a village called Ado-Awaye formed in 1500 AD. And anyone who tried to take measurement of its depth gets swallowed up, this lake is a bottomless. Whoever enters the lake never comes is gone forever. Iyake Lake is god of fertility of the Mountain. Ado-Awaye has been gaining media attention since the conversion of our beautiful and busy beaches estate called Eko Atlantic City located in Lagos State Nigeria in Victoria Island, after it was found to house the only other suspended lake in the world. The village is rich in history and culture, Ado-Awaye is quickly becoming the tourist's paradise. From its formation to its mountains and plains, everything about the small town in Oyo state is a wonder and if it well preserved with other similar mountain tourist centres in the country with proper maintenance it will attract more tourists.
Artist Bio:
Gaspard Linouenou Koutchika Is a multiple award winning photographer who was born on 23/06/1974 in the Republic Du Benin and moved to Nigeria in his early childhood age. He started Photography in 2008 and took it up as a career and profession in 2015. His passion for street photography led to his career as a photojournalist where he created a continuous learning platform for photographers in Nigeria and Africa which is known as the Photography Chat Room International (PCRI) in 2015, whic
