Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela the anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician and philanthropist and his government focused on dismantling the legacy of apartheid through tackling institutionalised racism, poverty and inequality, and fostering racial reconciliation. Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela is often described as "the father of the nation". Who have received more than 250 honours, including the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize. Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was a private person who often concealed his emotions and confided in very few people. Privately, he lived an austere life. "I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons will live together in harmony and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal for which I hope to live for and to see realised. But, My Lord, if it needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." — Rivonia Trial Speech, 1964
Artist Bio:
Chibuike Ifedilichukwu (b.1986, Enugu). He grew up in his community Akwaeze in Anambra Nigeria, with his grandmother who is eco-friendly and has a strong belief in the Igbo philosophy which says ‘egbe belu, ugo ebelu’ meaning ‘live and let live.’ Her ideals cut deep into him and molded his inspiration as an environmentalist and a multidisciplinary artist. He has distinguished himself in waste upcycling creativity. His works addresses the issues of climate change and its effect on economy
