Artist Bio

‘Deji Dania aka ‘DejiDan’ is a 1992 graduate of Fine Arts, 
specializing in Painting from the Obafemi Awolowo University 
Ile-Ife, having been trained and tutored by the proponents of 
Onaism, an art of aesthetic embellishment of forms with a 
strong emphasis on the elements of line and colour to further 
project the traditional Yoruba art space. 
A curious neo-traditional and experimental artist, upon 
graduation, ‘Deji Dania has had a number of exhibitions in 
both public and private shows in Nigeria which were well 
covered by the media for the uniqueness of style and its 
propelling philosophy. He is an Illustrator, graphic designer, 
digital colorist, a script writer and a comic administrator. He 
is an author of both children and adult books and several 
published articles. 
He is happily married with children and lives in Lagos, Nigeria
