Artist Bio

George Egunjobi works in Abeokuta. Born in Lagos in 1984, he hails from Fiditi, Afijio LGA of Oyo State. He graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state where he studied Fine and Applied Arts and specialized in Painting. Egunjobi effectively combines wood, tyre, frame cut our, paper, metal and fabric to produce meaningful art pieces. He has participated in over 28 group exhibitions since 2007, 2 solo exhibitions and 10 workshops in Nigeria and abroad. He is currently a full time resident artist at the June 12 Cultural Center, Kuto, Abeokuta Ogun State. He is a member of Society of Nigeria Artists (SNA) and Araism Movement.
