Artist Bio

<p>Ayoola hailed from the ancient city of Ile-Ife, Osun State. He&nbsp;<br>Obtained B.A and MFA in Fine Arts from Obafemi Awolowo&nbsp;<br>University, Ile-Ife in 2006 and 2014 respectively. He proceeded&nbsp;<br>to bag Post Graduate Diploma in Education in 2020 from&nbsp;<br>National Teachers&rsquo; Institute, Kaduna and Teachers&rsquo; Registration&nbsp;<br>Council of Nigeria (TRCN) in 2021. Ayoola, who combined&nbsp;<br>art practice with teaching, had taught Creative/Visual Arts in&nbsp;<br>several Secondary Schools in Nigeria for several years.&nbsp;<br>He had participated in several art exhibitions some&nbsp;<br>which include ECHOES, an Annual Juried Exhibition&nbsp;<br>organised by the Society of Nigerian Artists, Abuja Chapter&nbsp;<br>(2023), REDISCOVERING ARTS: A SUSTAINABLE&nbsp;<br>PERSPECTIVE organised by Embassy of Spain, Abuja (2022),&nbsp;<br>60x60x60 Art Exhibition organised by Department of Fine and&nbsp;<br>Applied Arts, Obafemi Awolowo University in commemoration&nbsp;<br>of 60th year anniversary of the institution&rsquo;s establishment&nbsp;<br>(2021), Celebrating Womanhood an Art Exhibition organised&nbsp;<br>by Nigeria Health Watch (2021), and Badagry Festival&nbsp;<br>Art Exhibition organised by Society of Badagry Artists in&nbsp;<br>collaboration with September Studio and Gallery, Badagry,&nbsp;<br>Lagos State, Nigeria (2013). Ayoola is a finalist/winner at Safe&nbsp;<br>4 Press Art Competition, organised by Society of Nigerian&nbsp;<br>Artists, Abuja and Cartoonists&nbsp;<br>Association of Nigeria (CARTAN),&nbsp;<br>2023. And a second prize winner at&nbsp;<br>Sports and Culture Art Competition&nbsp;<br>organized by National Council for&nbsp;<br>Arts and Culture in 2021.<br>&nbsp;His art practice is often inspired&nbsp;<br>by African philosophies, culture,&nbsp;<br>aesthetics and entertainment,&nbsp;<br>with styles ranging from realism&nbsp;<br>to abstract/stylization. Some of&nbsp;<br>his choicest art materials include&nbsp;<br>oil, acrylic and at times, mixed&nbsp;<br>media. Ayoola&rsquo;s figure painting and&nbsp;<br>composition are dramatic with focus&nbsp;<br>on African tradition, culture, identity&nbsp;<br>and entertainment, while landscape,&nbsp;<br>composition, and abstract are some&nbsp;<br>of his other painting genres. Ayoola&nbsp;<br>is a Career Developer/Administrator&nbsp;<br>in Human Resources and Staff&nbsp;<br>Development</p>
