Artist Bio

Born in Lagos, Subomi Decker is a multitalented artist. 
He is a sculptor, painter, potter, illustrator, poet, dramatist, 
teacher and a cartoonist. He is the CEO of Enaaroko 
studios-(The Anthill). He was trained at the notable 
professor Abayomi Barber School of Thought, University 
of Lagos. He also attended Obafemi Awolowo university, 
Ile Ife and Yaba College of Technology, Lagos. His vision 
as an artist is to postulate an identity, construct a character, 
politicize and legitimate a definition, sustain and advance 
a reputation- Tunde Decker(Matrix of Inherited Identity) 
from the very core essence of visual art. Impacting Nigeria’s 
material culture and beyond. His mission is to aggregate 
and marshal altruistically new breed of artist, in unison with 
professionals of like mind towards a cultural renewal. He is 
the artistic director at Ablesworth Pottery. He is a member 
of trustee at the Abayomi Barber Foundation. He is a codirector at Afriart Alliance. Conrad was the co-founder and 
director of the defunct Araba Art Gallery Lagos. He was the 
founder and president of Asterisk (Defunct): a drawing club, 
first of its kind at the department of fine and applied artObafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. Conrad is a member 
of several professional bodies. They include: Professor 
Abayomi Barber School of Thought(ABST), Master 
member of Society of Nigerian Artist(SNA), The best of 
Ife(OAU), Craft Potters Association of Nigeria(CEPHAN) 
to mention a few
