Artist Bio:
Tolulope Oladimeji Sobowale (PhD) teaches sculpture and art history at the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ibogun Campus, Ogun State, Nigeria. He bagged his B.A. and MFA in Sculpture, while his M.Phil and Ph.D are in African Art Studies in 1995, 2000, 2015 and 2023 respectively from Ife Art School.
His research interest is in the area of contemporary issues in Nigerian art with particular interest in figural representation and welded metal art. He
